Why is it when I win a game I earn one point to my Elo rating but if I loose a game I loose 8 points on my rating? How is that I need to win 8 games and if I lose one in out 8 points?

Well, this was the final slap in the face. The server finally responds, only I've lost eight games.

Thanks for nothing, bud.

I remember reading your bio/about where it said this was your challenge to complete a project. You failed. It's buggy, you never respond to people by email, here or on the Facebook page, and one rarely post anything anywhere.

I'm done.

Time to find something more productive than worrying about how buggy the next release will be.

Another outage... what a shock. :(

As I've offered in the past, pass this program over to me, along with the databases, code and system. I'll happily maintain it, update it and keep it going. You've done a good job up until about a year ago. Hand it off so we can all play again.

Since making this post almost two months ago, we've seen nothing... unless you count the two 24 hour outages. I'm just trying to determine if there's anyone still monitoring this program, the emails, the blog, anything?

We still have idiots who would rather take advantage of the program's flaws by sending "empty games" and trying to force draws than actually play. I have two empty games at the moment, and reported it, and no response has been received. It doesn't bother me to force a draw, but it's such a nuisance that I can't get someone to go in and fix it for me.

With that in mind, I'm happy to offer my services as a moderator or advocate or whatever. I won't charge a dime... I just want the bug-advantages to have an opportunity to be squashed so we can just play chess instead of having to worry about who is screwing with things.

Please repond.

Hi,
I have a problem: I made a move, then I offered a draw. My opponent refused it. According to the program it is my move, but it is actually my opponent's turn and I can't do anything just offer (again and again) draw... or to wait the 3 days...

Hi Noe - this issue is fixed now. You'll need to update your password in your profile one last time - and things will work as they did in the past. Thanks!
